Solid spot for downtown Clayton. Good food and cocktail menu.
They had gluten-free buns so you can get GF burgers and sandwiches. The barbecue sauce has gluten-free in it so steer clear.
I really enjoyed their cocktails. The Kentucky Mule and the seasonal tropical drink we're rather tasty.
This location has a great rooftop space for bigger groups & special events! -

I had higher expectations for this restaurant after hearing recommendations from locals. Upon entering, my husband and I were seated at a high-top near the front of the restaurant. Shortly after, a large group of people came in and immediately headed straight for the bar. They were obnoxiously loud - to the point where we couldn't even hear one another speak. We asked a hostess if we could move, which she graciously allowed.
The food is another story though. I ordered the Cobb salad and my husband ordered the Clayton classic burger. The burger was delicious and the price was decent. However, the salad was unimpressive. The menu said that the salad contained applewood-smoked bacon, but what arrived on my plate was clearly store-bought bacon bits from a bag. The grilled chicken was cold, bland, and flavorless. Even the dressing couldn't save the salad. Given the bar environment and the poor quality food, we won't be returning. -

Came here with my hubby for our 12th anniversary for lunch, my first impression was our waitress was crabby and had annoyed attitude. Her name was Barbara.
I ordered the grouper hubby ordered Cobb salad half and fried chicken livers.
I asked if the fish was fresh and she said yes but it was tasted very fishy tasting. Hubby's livers were yummy but the bread was gross and sad that it was piled on. Our service was slow to come back and ask if hubby wanted a refill on his beer. when we were done and wanted our bill she noticed my husband did not eat the bread and she commented that some people get it on rice or grits. That would have been nice if she would have upsell'd that in the beginning when we first ordered.
With all this said oh, I don't think we will return. I think the server needs to retire, service was very very slow and food was just mediocre for the price. Hubby's comment is it feels like a restaurant that's on the verge of closing and going out of business. -

Love the pork sliders! Sit at the bar to avoid the long waits at peak time. Bar tenders are friendly and the drinks are good.

Cute spot in downtown Clayton with a hometown/local vibe and a diverse American menu. I just had a cobb salad and loaded baked potato - both super tasty and the potato was cooked to perfection. My colleagues got wings and the veggie burger which were decent too.
